Hyderabad-headquartered Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group (RVAG), a precision manufacturing and deep-tech company serving the aerospace, defence, energy, and industrial sectors, has announced the successful closure of a $40 million (approximately ₹400 crore) Series B funding round. The investment was co-led by Norwest and Skegen Asset Management, with participation from Indus Bridge Ventures, GJNX Ventures, and investor Ashish Kacholia. The funding marks one of the company's biggest milestones as it looks to strengthen its presence in global aerospace manufacturing.

According to the company, the fresh capital will primarily be used to expand manufacturing capacity across its operations in India, the United Kingdom, and the United States. A significant portion of the investment will also support the development of RVAG's integrated manufacturing campus at Hardware Park near Hyderabad International Airport. The facility is expected to enhance research, assembly, precision manufacturing, and systems integration while supporting growing demand from international aerospace and defence customers.

Beyond manufacturing expansion, Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group plans to invest heavily in its Mission Systems and Deep-Tech & Autonomous Systems divisions. The company has increasingly focused on indigenous aerospace technologies, including propulsion systems, autonomous platforms, precision engineering, and advanced defence solutions. These initiatives align with India's broader push to strengthen domestic manufacturing capabilities while increasing exports of high-value aerospace products.

Over the past few years, RVAG has steadily expanded its international footprint through acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and investments in advanced manufacturing. The company has previously acquired UK-based PMC Group and US-based WMT Precision while also developing collaborations with global aerospace suppliers. These moves have enabled the Hyderabad-based manufacturer to build a stronger presence in international supply chains and serve major aerospace and defence original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

The funding announcement comes as India's aerospace manufacturing sector continues to attract investor attention, driven by increasing global demand, government initiatives promoting domestic production, and growing opportunities in defence technology. Industry experts believe companies with advanced precision engineering capabilities are well positioned to benefit from global supply chain diversification and rising investments in aerospace innovation.

With its latest funding round, Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group aims to accelerate international growth while reinforcing Hyderabad's position as an emerging hub for aerospace and defence manufacturing. The company expects the new capital to support technology development, manufacturing expansion, and long-term competitiveness in global markets.
