September 23, 2026: AI-powered health coaching platform Disha, formerly Curelink, has raised ₹43.88 crore in a Series A funding round led by General Catalyst, providing fresh capital for the startup as it expands its technology-driven approach to personalised healthcare.

Existing investor Elevation Capital also participated in the financing, along with Flamel Performing Creatives Private Limited, according to regulatory filings reported by Entrackr.

The financing follows Disha's earlier seed round of $3.5 million, or approximately ₹26 crore, which was led by Elevation Capital and Venture Highway.

General Catalyst Invests ₹38.20 Crore

General Catalyst accounted for the majority of the latest funding round, investing ₹38.20 crore.

Elevation Capital contributed another ₹5.20 crore, while Flamel Performing Creatives invested ₹48 lakh.

According to regulatory filings accessed by Entrackr, Disha's board approved the issuance of 12,309 Series A compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS) at an issue price of ₹35,643.64 per share to raise the ₹43.88 crore.

The transaction gives General Catalyst a significant position on Disha's cap table as the startup moves into its next stage of growth.

Disha Valued at Around ₹288 Crore After Funding

Following the Series A allotment, Disha's post-money valuation is estimated at approximately ₹288 crore, according to Entrackr.

That represents an estimated 52% increase from the approximately ₹190 crore valuation attributed to its previous round.

The valuation figures are estimates based on the transaction and filings rather than a valuation formally announced by Disha.

Where Will Disha Use the New Funding?

Regulatory filings indicate that Disha intends to deploy the fresh capital across several areas of its business.

The funding is expected to support working-capital requirements, development and enhancement of AI models and the company's technology platform, expansion of business and operations, strengthening of its capital base, and general corporate purposes.

The emphasis on AI development is particularly relevant to Disha's positioning as it attempts to combine technology with ongoing personalised health coaching.

What Is Disha?

Disha is a health-coaching platform built on the clinical infrastructure developed by Curelink.

Curelink was founded in 2021 by Aman Singla and Divyansh Jain. According to the company's website, its original model developed a dietitian-led clinical network involving condition-specific protocols, structured follow-ups and patient outcome tracking.

Disha represents an expansion of that infrastructure into a consumer-facing health platform.

The service provides personalised support around areas including diet, fitness and chronic care.

According to the company, its platform provides round-the-clock coaching in Hindi, English and Hinglish and covers 15 conditions.

Disha Claims 70 Lakh Sign-Ups

Disha says its platform has accumulated more than 70 lakh sign-ups.

The company also reports approximately 3 lakh active users and says around 1.4 crore messages have been exchanged through the service.

These numbers are company-reported operating metrics and should therefore be distinguished from independently audited financial figures.

Disha's own website says the underlying Curelink clinical operation has accumulated more than five years of clinical experience and developed more than 1,000 protocols.

Founders Aman Singla and Divyansh Jain Retain Major Stakes

Despite the latest funding round, founders Aman Singla and Divyansh Jain remain Disha's largest individual shareholders.

Following the Series A allotment, each founder holds approximately 31.10%, giving them a combined stake of 62.20%, according to the reported filings.

General Catalyst holds 13.33%, while Elevation Capital owns 9.96%.

The company's employee stock option pool accounts for 9.02%, while Venture Highway owns 4.07% and Flamel Performing Creatives holds approximately 0.17%.

Paytm and ShareChat Founders Among Angel Investors

Disha's cap table also includes several prominent Indian technology entrepreneurs.

Vijay Shekhar Sharma, founder and CEO of Paytm, and Ankush Sachdeva, co-founder and CEO of ShareChat, are among its angel investors.

Digital Sparrow Capital is also listed among the investors.

Each of these investors holds approximately 0.16% of the company following the latest allotment, according to the reported filings.

Revenue Doubled in FY25

Disha's latest available financial numbers also show growth in revenue alongside a reduction in losses.

The startup recorded ₹4.91 crore in revenue in FY25, compared with ₹2.47 crore in FY24, meaning revenue nearly doubled year on year.

At the same time, its loss declined 22.5% to ₹4.45 crore in FY25, from ₹5.74 crore in the previous financial year.

The company has not yet reported its FY26 financial results, making FY25 the latest financial period available in the reporting reviewed for this article.

Why the Funding Matters for Disha

Disha's Series A arrives as the company moves beyond the Curelink identity toward a broader consumer health-coaching proposition.

The startup is attempting to address a gap that exists after a patient leaves a doctor's consultation: ongoing assistance with diet, exercise, symptoms and day-to-day management of a health condition.

According to Disha, Curelink's earlier work focused on building this support layer through dietitians, structured protocols and continuous follow-ups. The Disha product seeks to extend that infrastructure to a much larger consumer base using AI and round-the-clock coaching.

The Series A gives the company additional capital to test whether that model can translate its reported user reach into a larger and more sustainable healthcare business.

From Curelink to Disha: What Comes Next?

The latest financing marks an important stage in Disha's evolution from the Curelink model.

Three numbers will be particularly relevant as the company scales: the adoption of its AI-powered health services, its ability to convert its large reported user base into revenue, and its progress toward reducing losses.

The company has already reported substantial user reach and nearly doubled revenue in FY25 while narrowing its loss.

With General Catalyst now joining its cap table as a major shareholder, Disha's next phase will centre on deploying the ₹43.88 crore Series A toward AI development, technology infrastructure and operational expansion — and demonstrating how those investments translate into sustainable growth.
