InCred Finance Posts Strong FY26 Growth

Profit and Revenue Register Healthy Double-Digit Growth

InCred Financial Services has posted another year of robust financial performance, underscoring its rapid expansion in India's non-banking financial sector.

The company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹438 crore for FY26, representing a 17% increase over the previous financial year. Meanwhile, total income grew by 36% year-on-year to ₹2,567 crore, supported by continued growth across its lending businesses.

Lending Business Continues to Expand

Loan Book and Managed Assets Grow Steadily

The lender continued to strengthen its balance sheet during the year.

Its total managed assets increased by approximately 22% to ₹17,748 crore, while assets under management (AUM) rose 28% to ₹15,881 crore by the end of March 2026.

Personal loans remained the company's largest business segment, accounting for more than half of its lending portfolio. Student loans, MSME financing, loans against property and institutional lending also contributed to the diversified loan book.

Higher Credit Costs Temper Profitability

Although earnings improved, profitability margins softened slightly during FY26.

According to ICRA's assessment, higher credit costs affected overall returns as recoveries from certain legacy loan portfolios moderated compared with previous years. Even so, the company remained profitable while maintaining strong business momentum.

IPO Plans Remain in Focus

The financial results arrive as InCred Holdings continues preparations for its proposed initial public offering.

The company has already taken regulatory steps toward listing and is expected to update its offer documents with the latest audited financial performance before moving ahead with the public issue. Market participants are closely watching the company's growth trajectory as it approaches the capital markets.

Background

Founded as a technology-driven lending platform, InCred Financial Services has steadily expanded its presence across retail, education and business lending.

The company operates through an extensive branch network across multiple Indian states and has increasingly positioned itself among the country's fast-growing NBFCs. Its business model combines digital underwriting with traditional lending channels, allowing it to scale across diverse customer segments.

Why This Story Matters

InCred's latest financial performance reflects continued demand for credit despite a challenging interest-rate environment.

Strong revenue growth, expanding assets and sustained profitability could strengthen investor confidence ahead of the company's planned IPO. At the same time, investors will closely monitor how effectively the lender manages credit quality while maintaining rapid expansion.

Balanced Analysis

The FY26 results demonstrate that InCred continues to grow its lending franchise at a healthy pace, supported by rising income and an expanding loan portfolio.

However, the moderation in profitability due to higher credit costs highlights the challenges of balancing aggressive growth with prudent risk management. As the company prepares to enter public markets, investors are likely to evaluate not only its growth metrics but also the sustainability of its asset quality and long-term profitability.
