Actor Imran Khan has joined a growing list of public figures voicing support for students affected by the NEET paper leak controversy. In a social media post, he said students deserve the same honesty, integrity, and accountability from examination authorities that is expected of them during exams.
Imran stressed that the issue should not be viewed through a political lens but as a matter of fairness and justice for millions of students whose efforts were impacted by alleged examination irregularities. He also expressed solidarity with students continuing to demand reforms in the country's examination system.
His comments come as educator and innovator Sonam Wangchuk enters the 19th day of his indefinite hunger strike at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. Wangchuk is demanding greater accountability, systemic reforms in competitive examinations, and action over the alleged NEET paper leak, despite growing concerns over his health.
