The compensation package included a fixed salary of about ₹7.97 crore, bonuses and incentives worth ₹23.35 crore, while the largest share came from exercised stock options valued at approximately ₹50.75 crore.

Infosys stated that Parekh's remuneration comes solely from the company and not from any subsidiary or group entity. The annual report also highlighted that his total compensation was significantly influenced by long-term stock-based rewards tied to company performance

The salary disclosure comes at a time when India's IT industry is navigating slower growth and increasing AI-driven disruption. Despite these challenges, Infosys crossed major business milestones and continues to invest heavily in artificial intelligence and digital transformation services.

Parekh remains one of the highest-paid executives in the Indian IT sector and is currently the longest-serving non-founder CEO in Infosys' history. Questions regarding the extension of his current term, which is set to end next year, remain unanswered.
