During the meeting, Myanmar reaffirmed its commitment that its soil would not be allowed to be used for any activities detrimental to India's security interests. The assurance comes amid concerns over insurgent movements and cross-border challenges affecting India's northeastern states.
The two leaders also discussed enhancing trade, infrastructure projects, border management, and humanitarian cooperation. PM Modi emphasized the importance of peace, stability, and inclusive development in the region, while both sides agreed to strengthen coordination on security matters.
