According to police, Moizuddin, who was actively involved in several Waqf property-related legal disputes, was fatally struck by an SUV outside his residence in Hyderabad on May 23. Initial reports treated the incident as a road accident, but subsequent investigations and CCTV evidence reportedly pointed to a deliberate attack.
Police claim that the father-son duo allegedly arranged the murder for ₹15 lakh through hired operatives. Authorities say the accused believed the advocate's legal actions in Waqf-related cases were causing them significant setbacks. Multiple arrests have been made as part of the investigation
Following the arrests, the Telangana Congress disciplinary committee suspended both leaders and initiated steps to remove them from the party. The party stated that strict action would be taken against anyone found involved in criminal activities.
The case has drawn widespread attention across Telangana due to the victim's role in high-profile Waqf property disputes and the involvement of a senior political figure. Investigations are ongoing, and police are continuing to examine the full extent of the alleged conspiracy.
