Indian corporations are poised to emerge as major brand owners in the United States over the coming years, according to OYO Founder and CEO Ritesh Agarwal.

Speaking about the evolving global business landscape, Agarwal said Indian companies are no longer focused solely on domestic growth but are increasingly acquiring, building, and scaling brands internationally. He noted that Indian entrepreneurs have demonstrated strong capabilities in technology, operations, and customer-centric innovation, positioning them for success in developed markets such as the US.

The OYO chief emphasized that India’s rapidly growing economy, expanding startup ecosystem, and rising access to capital are enabling businesses to compete on a global stage. He added that several Indian firms have already established a strong presence abroad through acquisitions, partnerships, and organic expansion.

Industry experts believe that as Indian companies continue to strengthen their global footprint, they could play a larger role in shaping consumer markets, hospitality, technology, and retail sectors across North America.

The remarks reflect growing optimism about India's emergence as a global business powerhouse and the increasing confidence of Indian enterprises in building internationally recognized brands.
