Neko Health, the preventive healthcare startup co-founded by Spotify CEO Daniel Ek and Hjalmar Nilsonne, has secured $700 million in Series C funding, valuing the company at nearly $7 billion. The investment round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and O.G. Venture Partners, with participation from several existing and new investors.
The fresh capital will be used to launch and expand Neko Health's AI-powered body scan clinics across the United States, beginning with New York. The company's preventive health scans combine proprietary imaging technology, blood analysis, AI-assisted diagnostics, and consultations with medical professionals to identify potential health risks before symptoms appear.
Neko Health has already completed more than 100,000 scans across the UK and Sweden, while over 350,000 people have joined its waiting list. The startup says its vertically integrated technology platform enables continuous improvements in preventive healthcare, positioning it for rapid international expansion.
