Speaking on economic challenges and inflationary pressures, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman highlighted concerns over the sharp rise in prices affecting consumers and businesses alike. She noted that global economic uncertainties, supply chain disruptions, and geopolitical tensions have contributed to cost increases across multiple sectors.

To address these challenges and support long-term economic resilience, Sitharaman stressed the need to focus on the three ‘Fs’—a framework aimed at strengthening key drivers of growth, investment, and development. She emphasized that coordinated efforts from policymakers, industries, and stakeholders are essential to manage inflation, improve productivity, and ensure sustainable economic progress.

Her remarks come at a time when governments worldwide are grappling with rising costs, fluctuating commodity prices, and concerns over household affordability. The minister expressed confidence that strategic reforms and targeted policies can help India navigate economic headwinds while maintaining growth momentum.
